A Vancouver man injured in a crash Tuesday night on Interstate 205 later died at the hospital, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Richard L. Pitsch, 54, was driving a 2010 Scion XB north on the highway near Northeast Ninth Street at about 9:30 p.m. when he suffered an apparent medical problem, according to state patrol.
Pitsch lost control of the vehicle and the Scion crossed the center lane and struck a southbound 1991 Honda Civic and then hit a barrier, troopers said.
Pitsch was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, where he died, troopers said.
The driver of the Honda, Robin Lavin, 49, of Bay Center was not injured.
No citations were issued. Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
