One person was injured in a multiple-vehicle crash tonight in the southbound lanes of Interstate 205 near Northeast 18th Street in Vancouver.

The crash was reported shortly before 9:30 p.m. after a northbound vehicle crossed the median into southbound traffic and struck another vehicle, Washington State Patrol Trooper Will Finn said on Twitter. He attributed the crash to a “possible medical event.”

One person was injured, Finn said.

The collision involved at least three vehicles, according to emergency radio traffic monitored at The Columbian. The crash temporarily blocked the right and center southbound lanes of I-205, Finn said.

More details about the incident were not immediately available.
