Two Vancouver men were injured in a two-car crash on state Highway 500 Thursday afternoon just east of Vancouver.

Glenn A. Vaughn, 73, was driving a Toyota Prius east on Highway 500 when he made a left turn onto Northeast 182nd Avenue and struck an oncoming Honda Civic driven by 34-year-old Adan Rodriguez Velasquez, the Washington State Patrol said.

Vaughn and Velasquez were treated at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center and released.

Vaughn failed to yield to Velasquez when he turned in front of him, the state patrol said. Troopers do not believe drugs or alcohol were involved in the collision.
