Fire damaged a home Tuesday in west Vancouver’s Shumway neighborhood.
The fire, which may have started in the basement electrical box, was reported at 3405 H Street at 8:02 p.m. Vancouver firefighters fought the blaze from above before moving into the basement.
The fire was put out by about 8:30 p.m., according to emergency radio monitored at The Columbian. The Red Cross was asked to help one adult and two children displaced by the fire.
