As Vancouver Public Schools analyzes its facilities, the district is asking the community to provide input in a survey about the condition of its school buildings. The survey will be available through March 24 at www.vansd.org.

Last year, district administrators began an extensive review of facility needs. Planning has included an extensive study of facility needs including a six-year enrollment forecast, an analysis of the condition of every school and a list of schools that could need replacement or remodeling.

Public input from the community survey will be included in the planning process in addition to a financial analysis, an elementary school-level design symposium and a final recommendation for school projects. If approved by the school board, a bond measure could be placed on the ballot as early as February. To learn more, visit vansd.org/design2chapter2.
