UPCOMING

FIRST CONGREGATIONAL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST will have a special recital on the occasion of Johann Sebastian Bach’s 330’s birthday, at 3 p.m. March 21 at the church, 1220 N.E. 68th St., Vancouver. Church organist, Christopher Schindler, will play on the newly installed organ after the previous organ “died” in November 2013. Schindler will primarily play works by Bach. 360-904-5910.

WOMEN AND TEENAGE GIRLS are invited to a crafting event, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at Brush Prairie Baptist Church, 11814 N.E. 117th Ave., Vancouver. Free classes will be offered in beginning tatting, sewing a pillowcase, making a sugar scrub, crafting a bunny, or work on your own project. Lunch is provided.
