A Level III sex offender, considered among the group most likely to reoffend, was recently released from prison and moved to west Vancouver.

Michael Bolds, 39, registered his address in the 6000 block of Northwest 20th Court after being released from the Stafford Creek Corrections Center, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said.

He was convicted of first-degree sex abuse in Yamhill County, Ore., in 2012 for sexually assaulting a 40-year-old man he didn’t know. In 2007, he pleaded guilty to third-degree assault domestic violence with sexual motivation in Clark County Superior Court after he sexually and physically assaulted a 22-year-old woman he knew, the sheriff’s office said.

Bolds is described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and 180 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

The Washington State Department of Corrections, Vancouver police and Clark County sheriff’s office sex-offender units will monitor Bolds.
