An 18-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly pulled a gun during a fight on a Vancouver intersection Thursday evening.

Police were called to the intersection of Broadway and East Fourth Plain Boulevard for a group of people fighting at about 5:15 p.m. Thursday, according to Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp.

Two people were fighting when Jesse D. Smokey, 18, of Vancouver and another person intervened, Kapp said.

During the altercation, Smokey pulled a gun out of his backpack, but another person knocked the gun out of his hand, Kapp said. No one was seriously injured.

Three of the four people were located by police, and Smokey was arrested on suspicion of displaying a weapon, carrying a concealed firearm without a permit and third-degree assault.

A 16-year-old boy was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing a police officer and booked in the Clark County Juvenile Detention Center.
