The Kent woman injured in a Skamania County crash over the weekend that killed her two sons and husband has been released from the hospital.
Mariya Goy, 49, was released from Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, where her son Andrey Goy, 11, remains in fair condition, according to a statement from the family.
Five members of the Goy family were returning from a vacation in the Columbia Gorge on Saturday evening. They were driving west on state Highway 14 near Milepost 33 when around 8 p.m. an eastbound 1997 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck driven by 24-year-old Heath T. Martin of North Bonneville crossed into oncoming lanes and struck the minivan head-on, the Washington State Patrol said. Martin, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at the scene, the WSP said.
Troopers also discovered Martin had a medical restriction on his license, which had been canceled, said Sgt. Nate Hovinghoff.
