Truman — The Harry S. Truman Elementary School PTA and Truman Neighborhood Association teamed up for a bike safety event on May 29 at the school, where about 50 kids received helmet fittings, registered their bikes and rode a course set up by Bike Clark County. The course allowed the children to obey signs and maneuver around different obstacles. Bad Monkey Bikes provided safety checks and helped register bikes, which makes it more likely to retrieve a lost bicycle. Parents also received bike safety material to go over and discuss with their kids.
