Two women who work in law enforcement will share their stories as part of an ongoing conversation series hosted by a local women’s group.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office Cmdr. Erin Nolan and Ridgefield Police Chief Carrie Greene will be sharing their perspectives at “Women Who Carry Guns — A Look at Women in Law Enforcement,” at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Grant House, 1101 Officers Row.
The event is hosted by H-Roc, a Vancouver-based organization dedicated to advancing women leaders, and is part of its Cocktails and Conversations series.
Nolan began her career as a deputy in 1987 and has served the sheriff’s office as the chief criminal deputy and the chief civil deputy, as well as serving as interim chief of police in both Ridgefield and La Center. She is currently the commander of the agency’s west precinct.
