A homeless man accused of stabbing his cousin made a first appearance Monday in Clark County Superior Court.
Robert F. Graves, 44, faces allegations of first-degree assault and second-degree assault-domestic violence in connection with the Sunday incident.
According to a probable cause affidavit filed in Superior Court, Graves and the victim began fighting at a residence at 905 Winchell Ave. in Vancouver after the victim reportedly “would not get up.” A witness said he heard the victim yell “you stabbed me.”
The victim was found nearby with cuts to both of his hands, which were described as defensive wounds, court records said. Graves denied that anything happened.
