Nickelback has canceled tonight’s show at Amphitheater Northwest, according to an announcement posted on the band’s and the amphitheater’s websites.
The band’s website says the show is canceled is due to artist illness.
“At this time, due to our tour schedule, we can not reschedule these dates. Refunds will be available at point of purchase. We are so sorry,” according to a message on the website.
The Canadian rockers were due to play the Ridgefield-area venue as part of the North American leg of their “No Fixed Address” tour.
The band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and is one of the most successful rock groups of the 2000s.
The band was scheduled to play the Gorge Amphitheater in Central Washington on Saturday. That show is also canceled.
