Boating safety class scheduled June 27

Registration is open for a boater safety class beginning at 8:30 a.m. June 27 at the Clark County Wastewater District office, 8000 N.E. 52nd Court.

The course costs $10 per person and lasts until 4:45 p.m.

Offered by Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 78 and the Clark County Marine Patrol, the class teaches boating safety, equipment requirements, regulations and regulatory markers and navigation rules. Completing the class can reduce the cost of boater insurance and prepares students to obtain their Washington or Oregon boater card.
