Students look toward college with elementary school mural

Hazel Dell — About 25 students and parents joined Sarah J. Anderson Elementary School art teacher Travis London on June 9 to work on a 45-foot mural, which will be displayed in the school’s entrance once it’s completed. “College bound” is the theme of the mural. “The colorful mural highlights the journey the students are on that begins at Anderson and will take them through middle and high school, hopefully through college and into a profession that will serve the community,” London said in an email.
