The Fort Vancouver National Trust is seeking 300 volunteers for the July 4 celebration at Fort Vancouver. Individuals, service organizations, corporate groups and all others are encouraged to volunteer to sell and collect tickets, work at information booths, serve water at a water wagon, be a parking lot attendant or work in the adult beverage pavilion.
Shifts are a few hours long, plus a short training session before the day of the event. Volunteers will receive free admission, a parking pass, a volunteer T-shirt and reusable water bottle.

The Clark County STASHA (Strong Teens Against Substance Hazards and Abuse) Peer Education Program seeks youth 12 to 19 years old to fill positions for the 2015-16 program year. STASHA peer educators raise awareness of alcohol and drug issues among children through outreach and educational programs. The 25-member group includes those who have never used drugs or alcohol, those with past use, and those who have completed treatment and are in recovery. Meetings are on the first and third Monday evenings of each month. Training is provided.
