Eric LaBrant event: The campaign to elect Eric LaBrant to the District 2 seat on the nonpartisan Port of Vancouver Commission will host a “Shout Out to Unions” event, to be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Garage Bar and Grille, 1101 W. Fourth Plain Blvd.
The event will honor the work of unions in Vancouver to strengthen the economy, according to a campaign news release. Admission is free, but the event is for ages 21 and older. Garage Bar is offering a $7 deal for beer and a burger.
