Commercial fishing period to be set for summer chinook

Washington and Oregon officials will meet at 10 a.m. Wednesday to adopt a commercial fishing period for summer chinook salmon in the lower Columbia River.

The meeting will be via teleconference.

A run of 73,000 summer chinook is forecast to enter the Columbia River.
