A Camas woman was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after a rear-end crash on state Highway 503 in Battle Ground.

Tammy Blackwell, 38, slowed for a red light at Southwest Scotton Way, when a Ford Ranger pickup rear-ended her Chevrolet Silverado pickup, the Washington State Patrol said. Blackwell said she was stopped at the intersection when she got rear-ended.

Her passengers Murrill Blackwell, 79, and Argus Blackwell, 91, both of Vancouver, were not injured. The driver of the Ford Ranger, Henry Zimmerman, also was not injured.

Zimmerman, 65, of Battle Ground was cited by the State Patrol for driving too fast for the conditions. His pickup was totaled and towed from the crash site.
