Central Vancouver — The Nutter Foundation awarded a $1,300 grant to Innovative Services NW for the Expanded Playground and Outdoor Therapy Play Space project, which will more than double the early-learning play space and give kids an area to interact with natural elements, such as sand, water, wood and living plants. The grant will help create the digging area in the new play space. The project is expected to break ground in the fall. Innovative Services is a Vancouver-based nonprofit that works with more than 1,300 children and adults facing disabilities and disadvantages.
