Police are searching for a Vancouver man who was reported missing Wednesday night after a fishing trip to Lacamas Lake.
Investigators said David J. Gleghorn, 68, went fishing in an inflatable boat around 8 a.m. on Wednesday and never came home. Growing concerned after the sun went down, Gleghorn’s family contacted the Camas Police Department and reported him missing.
During a search of the area Wednesday night, police found Gleghorn’s vehicle parked near the public boat launch on N.W. Leadbetter Road.
His boat was nowhere to be seen, but police said evidence showed it entered the water from that point.
