Northwest Pipe Co., the Vancouver-based manufacturer of steel pipe, said Monday that it’s exploring the sale of its remaining energy tubular products business. The company is using Raymond James and Associates, a financial adviser, to help it during the process.
Northwest Pipe’s tubular products business is located in Atchison, Kan., and includes line, structural and standard pipe.
The company’s decision to consider selling its remaining energy tubular products business “reflects our long-term desire to continue to sharpen our focus on our core water transmission business through organic growth initiatives, as well as through (mergers and acquisition) activity,” Scott Montross, president and CEO of Northwest Pipe, said in a news release.
