Highway 503 roadwork will delay drivers

State contractor crews will begin replacing more than 8 miles of damaged pavement on state Highway 503 between Vancouver and Battle Ground starting Wednesday, causing traffic delays.

This is what drivers can expect on Highway 503 between Fourth Plain Boulevard and Northeast 119th Street:

• Northbound: Single lane closures from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday; from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday; and from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.

• Southbound: Single lane closures from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Monday through Friday; from 6 p.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday; from 5 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.

Here’s what to expect on Highway 503 between Northeast 199th Street and Main Street (state Highway 502):

• Northbound: Single lane closures from 7 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday; around the clock Saturday and Sunday.

• Southbound: Single lane closures from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Monday through Friday; around the clock Saturday and Sunday.
