Volunteer Connections provides opportunities through the Human Services Council.

• Bloodworks Northwest is looking for volunteer ambassadors to direct and encourage new donors, and manage the appointment schedule.

• Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington is looking help with special events, tutoring and coaching.

• Clark County Historical Museum is looking for a publication designer to do the layout and cover design of an annual anthology publication of historical articles related to this region. Extensive experience with Adobe InDesign software is required.

• Columbia Springs seeks individuals and families to help at a Stewardship Saturday event on July 18, with projects like gardening, painting, cleaning and invasive species removal. The event begins with a lesson about local ecology and ends with an activity.

• Evergreen Habitat for Humanity seeks volunteers to work on home-building sites, with cleaning, painting, concrete work and framing. No experience or skills are necessary.

• Inter-Faith Treasure House is looking for volunteers to pick up donated bread and other donations from local stores. Volunteers use their own vehicles and must be able to lift 35 pounds. Sorters are also needed at the thrift sore.

• Volunteer Center is looking for Program Development Council members to support the center’s programs. Advisory Council members are also needed, for two-year terms. The council meets monthly.
