From ax throwing to pole climbing, the Amboy Territorial Days Celebration revs up with its annual logging competition, featuring multiple timber sports from noon to 5 p.m. today. Before the competition, visitors can enjoy the carnival, stage entertainment, beer garden art fair and community parade at 10 a.m. Then, the three-day event wraps up Sunday with such events as the Mount Tum Tum Fun Run at 9 a.m. and the popular lawn-mower races at 1 p.m. Territorial Days is open from 9 a.m. to midnight today and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Amboy Territorial Park, 21400 N.E. 399th St., Amboy.
