An Evergreen High School teacher suspected of using his phone to take photos and video up the skirts of students, including one in his class, appeared in Clark County Superior Court on Tuesday morning.
Matthew Morasch, 40, was scheduled to be arraigned on two counts of voyeurism, but the hearing was pushed back to Friday. His newly retained attorney, Alan Harvey with Northwest Legal Advocates, appeared with him.
Morasch is accused of filming up a female student’s dress while she was seated at a table where he was helping students who were working on final projects, according to a probable cause affidavit filed in Superior Court. The alleged incident occurred on June 15, two days before the end of the school year.
Some students reported seeing Morasch filming the lower half of the 14-year-old girl. One student snapped a photo during the alleged incident, court records said.
