East Vancouver — The Greater Clark County Rotary Foundation hosted its first Auction and Rummage Sale on June 27 at Evergreen High School. The day saw more than 2,200 guests shop for donated items in 13 departments. Money raised will go to various projects the Rotary funds, such as scholarships and donations to local charities, as well as “many hammer-and-nail projects, such as bunk beds for Open House Ministries and wheelchair ramps for disabled,” according to an email from Rotary member Debbie Deane. The Rotary plans on making the auction and rummage sale a yearly event, taking place the last week of June at Evergreen High School.
