Clark College receives grant from Bank of America

Central Park — Bank of America gave Clark College a $20,000 grant for a pre-apprenticeship professional edge program, a 40-hour training class that includes an innovative teaching component. The course will combine classroom learning, company presentations, interactive exercises and application and individual coaching to support apprenticeship candidates in developing the workplace skills necessary to gain and retain employment, especially in manufacturing environments, according to a release from the bank. Bank of America has awarded Clark College $65,000 since 2011 for education and workforce development.
