Detectives are still not releasing any new information about the investigation into the man whose body was found apparently dumped in southeast Ridgefield earlier this week.
“We want to maintain the integrity of the investigation,” Clark County Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Kevin Allais said.
Allais, who heads the agency’s major crimes unit, said that investigators have worked around the clock since the body was discovered just before 6 a.m. Wednesday.
Loggers found the body in the area near Northeast 179th Street and Northeast 15th Avenue in the middle of an open field about 100 feet south of 179th Street and called 911, according to the sheriff’s office.
