Bowling event raises money, collects toys for children’s hospital

Fisher’s Landing East — Big Al’s and Dru’s chapter of Friends of Doernbecher raised $42,315 for Oregon Health and Science University Doernbecher Children’s Hospital at a Bowling with Heart event on June 14. For a month leading to the event, Big Al’s in Vancouver and Beaverton, Ore., collected toys to donate to the hospital. Together, the two locations collected 220 toys for the children’s hospital.
