SOUPER BOWL OF CARING: Children from St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 5607 N.E. Gher Road, Vancouver, will accept dollar donations and/or a can of soup at the church doors before worship. Half of the money collected will be donated to Share Vancouver and the other half will go to Evangelical Lutheran Church in America World Hunger. The cans of soup will be donated to the church food pantry. * www.salcvan.org

WINDS AND STRINGS CELTIC BAND OF ST. ANDREW
will present in February two benefit concerts to benefit Winter Hospitality Overflow. Performances will be at 3 p.m. Feb. 14 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 5607 N.E. Gher Road, Vancouver, and at 3 p.m. Feb. 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1309 Franklin St., Vancouver. Sophie McDuffey, a professional Scottish piper, will be featured, along with the music of Irish pipes, flutes and whistles, hammered dulcimers and guitars. An offering will be taken.
