Three people that detectives believe are associated with a drug-trafficking operation were arrested Thursday by the Clark-Vancouver Regional Drug Task Force.

Drug detectives developed information of a methamphetamine drug deal taking place in the Winco parking lot, 9700 N.E. Highway 99. When they arrived, they witnessed what they believed to be the transaction, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Detectives contacted two people and arrested them on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver. The sheriff’s office identified the two people as Juan Rojas-Hernandez, 26, and Jose Dzul-Uxul, 37.

Additional information obtained at the scene led investigators to a residence in the 3500 block of 96th Street, where they found two additional pounds of crystal methamphetamine, according to the sheriff’s office.

They arrested Luis A. Naranjo-Arias on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance.

In total, the drug task force seized about four pounds of methamphetamine, which has an estimated street value of $20,000 to $25,000.
