Hazel Dell — Twenty-three local horticultural projects got a $34,774 boost in grants from the Master Gardener Foundation of Clark County in January.
Numerous community groups will be able to pursue environmentally friendly and educational garden projects: 4-H Restorative Community Service Food Bank garden; Washington State University Clark County Extension’s Farm to Fork program; Fort Vancouver historic interpretive garden; Second Step Housing; NatureScaping of Southwest Washington’s wildlife botanical garden Hazel Dell, Illahee and Excelsior school gardens; Vancouver Heights United Methodist Church; Bethel Community Garden; Plant a Row for the Hungry; and the Heritage Farm Organic Demonstration Garden.
