The third annual Southwest Washington Math Challenge is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at Chief Umtuch Middle School, 700 N.W. Ninth St. in Battle Ground.
This is an opportunity to watch students in fifth through eighth grades demonstrate math skills in a competition. Public events include 9 a.m. mental math, 11:05 a.m. college bowl, noon lunch and 12:30 p.m. awards presentation.
