Boys basketball: Evergreen 74, Heritage 71

Robert Franks led four Plainsmen in double figures, and Jordan Henderson made a couple key free throws down the stretch to aid the Plainsmen.

Evergreen led by 15 going into the fourth quarter. Heritage got hot, cuttind the lead to two points before being called for an intentional foul.

Henderson then made both free throws inside the two-minute mark, putting the Plainsmen back up four.

It was a free throw game from there, and the Plainsmen finished the night 13 of 15 from the line.

Franks scored 19 points, and Henderson finished with 18. Greg Washington added 15, and Tyrus Hosley scored 11 for the Plainsmen.

Heritage also had four in double figures. Mark Bejan led the way with 20 points. Payton Monda scored 15, Tanner Lundberg had 14, and Kenese Peneueta added 10 points for the Timberwolves.
