Boys basketball: Tumwater 68, Prairie 51

The Falcons were outscored 21-3 during the final quarter of a nonleague loss on the road.

Greg Bernash had 18 points, six blocks and six rebounds. But the Falcons (6-10) only managed one field goal in the fourth quarter.

“We just struggled to get shots,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said. “We played extremely hard and with poise for three quarters.”

Weston VandenHazel scored 20 points and David Cooper added 19 to lead Tumwater, which is ranked No. 8 in the latest 2A Associated Press poll.
