Kienan Walter scored 37 points and the host Knights held off a Bulldogs rally to win the Class 1A Trico League contest.

King’s Way (11-5, 7-1 Trico) led by 15 points at halftime, but Steventon (7-8, 3-4) used a 26-point third quarter to close the gap to eight points.

Austin Brennan scored 29 points for the Bulldogs. But the visitors could not quite erase the whole deficit. A 3-pointer in the final seconds got them within the final three-point margin.

Walter scored 14 of his points in the third quarter to keep the Knights in front despite the Bulldogs outburst. Walter also scored 10 points in the first quarter as King’s Way took a 21-9 lead.
