Ridgefield — Artist Robin Hominiuk of Ridgefield recently had a piece selected to appear in the annual CVG Show competition at Bremerton’s Collective Visions Gallery.

Hominiuk’s work is a mixed-media sculpture made of wood-fired stoneware on a wood-fired stoneware base with hand-forged and fold-formed copper.

More than 270 Washington artists submitted nearly 800 works, and 130 were picked for the competition, which will award $7,500 to artists in multiple categories.

The show opens Jan. 24 and runs until Feb. 28 at the gallery, which is at 331 Pacific Ave. in Bremerton.
