Boys basketball: Camas 58, Skyview 46

The second half was the difference for the Camas Papermakers boys basketball in Friday’s 58-46 win over Skyview.

Trevor Jasinksy led the way for Camas with 16 points and six rebounds. But the Papermakers also got timely shot-making from Andre De Los Rios who scored all seven of his points in the final period when Skyview tried to make a run.

Ethan Unger and Jake Hansel both scored in double-figures for the Papermakers.

Marcus Lord had 15 points and five rebounds to lead Skyview.

Camas was the more aggressive team, earning 28 foul shots to just four for Skyview.

With the win Camas improves to 3-2 in league play the 4A Greater St. Helens League while the Skyview falls to 1-4.

SKYVIEW — Avery Schmidt 0, Jason Cheney 3, Daniel Thomas 10, Mason Scheidel 5, David Tomasini 0, Tyrone Watson 4, Marcus Lord 15, Darius Watson 2, Eric Trimble 0, Terran Scrugs 5, Skler Martin 2, Arron Yewman 0. Totals 19 (6) 2-4 46.
