Skyview outscored Battle Ground 17-4 in the third quarter to break open a close game.

The Tigers (4-8, 1-3) led 18-13 midway through the second quarter. But Skyview (9-3, 4-0) rallied behind its defense.

“They forced a lot of turnovers,” Tigers coach Joe Potter said. “That’s what good pressure defense will do.”

Sydney Friauf scored 11 points to lead Skyview. Ashlee Comastro and Maddie Lord each scored 10.

Jossilyn Blackman had six points and eight rebounds for Battle Ground. Madison Reeves also had six points off the bench.
