Girls basketball: Mountain View 51, Evergreen 36

The Thunder had three players in double figures to defeat Evergreen in the 4A Greater St. Helens League matchup.

Hailey Hartney led Mountain View with 17 points, Emilly Moore had 11 and Katie Hurst 10.

“The kids were stepping up when needed,” Mountain View coach Mat Clark said. “It was a good job displaying toughness, and an overall team contribution.”

Makenzie Smith had 11 points for Evergreen, and Moriah Doyle scored 10.
