A man was found dead underneath a vehicle that apparently rolled on top of him Tuesday in Vancouver.
The incident was reported around 6:30 p.m. in the 2400 block of Rossiter Lane in the Fourth Plain Village neighborhood, and it involved a truck, according to emergency radio traffic. After patrol officers found the man was dead, traffic and major crime detectives were called in to figure out what happened, said Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
Police are investigating the unusual death as a fatal traffic crash because a vehicle was involved, Kapp said. She wasn’t sure who reported the incident to 911.
