Girls basketball: Prairie 77, Centralia 31

Cherita Daugherty had 12 points, nine rebounds and five assists and the Falcons took control after trailing midway into the first quarter.

Grace Prom also scored a dozen points for Prairie (6-5), and Natalie Whitesel had 11 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.

“They just started playing as a team,” Prairie coach Brett Johnson said. “They’ve been coming together the last two weeks.”
