Michael Stockbridge scored 22 points but the Falcons’ fourth-quarter rally fell short.
Trailing 47-35 after three quarters, Prairie cut the deficit to four points with four minutes to play.
But host Centralia put the non-league game away by making 13 of 16 free throws in the fourth quarter.
Stockbridge led Prairie’s rally by making five of his six 3-pointers in the fourth quarter. Prairie did not attempt a free throw.
“Not getting to the free throw line hurt us,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said. “I’m proud of how our guys competed. We battled back and were in a position to win despite some adversity.”
