Gas got cheaper by the day in Vancouver over the past week, with regular unleaded dropping by a dime to $2.46 per gallon in this week’s AAA Oregon/Idaho survey.
The state as a whole also averaged a gasoline price of $2.46 per gallon, the ninth-highest in the nation. Oregon came in 10th place nationally with gasoline at $2.44 per gallon. To the east, Idaho prices dropped by 15 cents to $2.07, the 34th most expensive of the 50 states.
The national average for regular unleaded has fallen for a record 103 days and now is selling for an average of $2.19 per gallon, AAA reported.
