Boys basketball: Evergreen 75, Heritage 66

Robert Franks nearly missed a triple-double and Tyrus Hosley had 23 points and seven assists as the Plainsmen advances in the 4A district tournament.

Evergreen (14-7) will play at Camas at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Franks had 10 points, 11 rebds and nine assists for Evergreen.

“Robert played a solid game,” Evergreen coach Brian Witherspoon said. “He’s so unselfish, he just wanted to get everyone involved.”

Jordan Henderson added 16 points and eight rebounds for Evergreen.

Payton Monda and Mark Bejan each hit three 3-pointers in the fourth quarter as Heritage made a late run. Monda finished with 20 points and Bejan added 18.
