Week 10 winter sports prep athlete of the week nominees

Nominees for high school winter athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Feb. 14. Voting will conclude at 8 p.m. Thursday with results published in Friday’s Columbian

DALLAS GOODPASTER, EVERGREEN BOYS WRESTLING: Top-ranked Goodpaster won the 4A regional title at 220 pounds with three pins.

MARK KIM, CAMAS SWIMMING: Kim won the 200 freestyle and 500 freestyle as well as swimming on two winning relays at the 4A district meet.

MIRANDA LEA, SKYVIEW GYMNASTICS: Lea was second in the all-around at the Class 4A regional meet in Bellevue with a score of 37.0.

ABBY LEES, WASHOUGAL GIRLS WRESTLING: Lees won the Region 3 title at 155 pounds with a first-round pin.

SPENCER LONG, COLUMBIA RIVER BOYS BASKETBALL: Long scored 12 points in a playoff win over Auburn, then added 22 against Auburn Riverside as River clinched a state berth.
