Longtime Vancouver resident Jared Hidden has joined the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s board of directors this past year. Hidden is a political affairs coordinator for the Building Industry Association and sits on several boards and committees including the Fort Vancouver National Historic Trust. He has a background as a classical pianist.

PLEXSYS Interface Products, Inc. of Camas has appointed Ron “Opie” Wiegand as general manager, effective March 2015. Wiegand previously was the Booz Allen Hamilton lead for Hurlburt Field, Fla., providing program management, consulting services and market development. Wiegand, a retired Colonel and graduate of the Air Force Academy and Weapons School, has a long history with training systems, including with establishing what is now the Distributed Mission Operations Center at Kirtland AFB New Mexico and he closed out his military career in Special Operations, as the Commander, 623 Air & Space Operations Center, Hurlburt Field, Fla. Wiegand and his family will be relocating to Camas.

Steve Savage and Beth Anderson have joined Raymond James, a diversified financial services company at 201 N.E. Park Plaza Drive, Suite 261. Savage has more than 19 years of experience as a financial advisor. Anderson, with more than 18 years experience, joins the company as an administrative assistant. Darreld Hutchins and Jett Hoskins are co-branch managers.

The School of Piano Technology for the Blind has appointed Cheri Martin as the school’s new executive director. Martin will be responsible for oversight of all management, fiscal, fundraising, planning and educational activities of the school. Martin has served as executive director of the Parks Foundation of Clark County, director of Alumni Relations and the Penguin Athletic Club for the Clark College Foundation, and community education director for Ridgefield School District. She is a former member of the Vancouver Symphony.

Dave Sharp, formerly vice president of sales at Columbia Machine, Inc., has purchased PrintGraphics, Inc. in Beaverton, Ore. Sharp has a degree in business administration from the University of Illinois. He lives in Vancouver.
