SALEM, Ore. — The search for a new director of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife has been narrowed to three finalists.
The three are Curt Melcher, interim director; Ed Bowles, fish division administrator, and Krystyna Wolniakowski, former director of the Western Partnership Office of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation.
The Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission will interview each candidate Friday in a closed session. It is unknown if the commission will make a final choice on Friday.
