Boys basketball: Woodland 53, Hockinson 30

The Beavers dominated from the outset, outscoring the Hawks 26-4 in the first quarter and leading 43-9 by halftime.

Tanner Sixberry paced a balanced Woodland offense with 11 points.

Woodland and Washougal tied for second place in the 2A Greater St. Helens League and will meet Thursday at 7 p.m. at Ridgefield to play off for district tournament seeding.
